Get to know me
I went on to spend more than 17 years in the Tasmanian Government,
where I developed extensive expertise in management, program
delivery and public policy, with a focus on delivering practical outcomes, managing complex projects and ensuring government services meet the needs of the community.
In 2019 I established my own small business, bringing firsthand experience of the challenges and opportunities facing local business owners.
I have been a strong advocate for safer neighborhoods, support for local businesses, stronger healthcare services and practical solutions to the cost-of-living pressures facing Tasmanian families.
I was born and raised in Tasmania to Italian migrant parents who taught me the values of hard work, resilience, and community from an early age.
After leaving school, I proudly served in the Royal Australian Air Force as a Medic, serving both in Australia and overseas, where I developed the leadership, discipline and commitment to service.
Following my military service, I returned back to Tasmania to raise my son and continued my commitment to helping others through aged care nursing.
I believe that effective local government starts with listening and am committed to making Council more transparent, accountable and responsive by ensuring residents are informed about how decisions are made and how their rates are spent.
My priorities include:
-
Keeping Glenorchy clean, safe and welcoming.
-
Supporting local businesses and creating opportunities for economic growth.
-
Delivering transparent and accountable decision-making.
-
Listening to residents and ensuring community concerns shape Council decisions.
I bring a unique combination of military service, government experience, business knowledge and a genuine commitment to the Glenorchy community.
It would be an honor to serve and represent you on the Glenorhcy City Council.
